Among other benefits, the firm offers: on-site medical and dental assistance, including for family members; health insurance that covers examinations and hospital treatment; transportation between work and home; basic foodstuffs; dining hall where breakfast and other meals are served; and a recreation room, with games such as billiards and table tennis.

By means of lectures, campaigns and printed materials, employees receive guidance on the prevention of accidents and illness, application of first aid and hygiene procedures, as well as being encouraged to share this knowledge with their family members and acquaintances.

Education

Elfusa maintains a system of educational incentives that offers teachers, classroom and teaching materials for free to those employees who have not concluded their primary education.

For those who have already concluded this stage, the program offers support for secondary education and scholarships for technical, language and university courses. Management-level employees are also eligible to receive subsidies from the company for postgraduate courses.

Educational incentives also cover the family members of employees. At the beginning of every school year Elfusa distributes vouchers for the purchase of school supplies for students enrolled in the pre-school to 8th grades.

Elfusa Recreational Club

The company maintains, in partnership with the Benedito Moreira Curimbaba Association, the Elfusa Recreational Club, which offers members courts and fields for the practice of a variety of sports, swimming pools, playground, and a leisure area with kiosks and barbeque grills.
