Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide

BTST is a brown fused aluminum oxide obtained by a reduction fusion of high quality bauxites in electric arc furnaces. Due to its high toughness, the grits are silane coated, which promotes a better connection between the abrasive grain and phenolic resin binder. BTST-R is recommended for high performance grinding wheels. Produced according to ANSI or FEPA-F.
