Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide

SFARBFST is a semi-friable brown fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of high purity bauxites in electric arc furnaces. The grits are silane coated, which promotes a better connection between the abrasive grain and phenolic resin binder. SFARBFST is heat treated at high temperatures and these procedures guarantee stress relief, high toughness and a blue colored grit. SFARBFRC is recommended for high performance grinding wheels. Produced according to ANSI or FEPA-F.
