With over 60 years of experience in national and international market, Elfusa is committed to maintaining environmental balance. In recent years, the company has put into practice various environmental management and impact control projects and programs, among which we can mention:
Control of atmospheric emissions with replacement of fuel oil for natural gas, in addition to modernization of filtering equipment and particulate gas systems
Garbage selection, recycling and/or processing and adequate disposal of solid waste generated. 6.5 tons of materials are forwarded to a recycling cooperative on a monthly basis
Developed Projects and Programs
Recovery and reprocessing of fines in productive process
Directed to community, the company has reforested the banks of the river Jaguarí within the company premises. Over 4,500 trees of native species were planted, the seedlings of which were donated by Tarumã, Curimbaba Group's company that was responsible for the reforestation work of the riparian forest.
