Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide

ALOCAL is a brown fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of high purity bauxites in electric arc furnaces. ALOCAL is heat treated in a rotary kiln at high temperatures and magnetic treated. These procedures guarantee low iron content in the product and it is recommended for refractory applications.

AR

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide

AR is a brown fused aluminum oxide obtained from the fusion of high purity bauxites in electric arc furnaces. It presents an excellent cost/benefit relation, being recommended for refractory applications where iron content is not an issue. AR splits coarser than 2 mm are not recommend for refractories used at temperatures higher than 1300ºC.
